About this coffee
Kenya Nguguini AA is a classic washed Kenyan coffee from Kirinyaga County, on the southern slopes of Mount Kenya. It is processed at the Nguguini factory, as washing stations are called in Kenya, from SL28, SL34 and Ruiru 11 grown at 1600–1700 m.a.s.l. AA is the largest bean screen size in the Kenyan grading system.
In the cup: raspberry, rosehip, cranberry and rhubarb, with high, sparkling acidity and a medium body. A juicy, vibrant filter coffee with unmistakable Kenyan character.
How to brew
Filter: 15 g of coffee to 250 g of water (1:16) at 92–94 °C; total brew time around 2:45–3:15 on V60, Kalita or AeroPress.
Single-origin specialty Arabica, roasted by Wave Coffee Roasters in Portugal.
